I found this badge many years ago when I heard about how one of the mills in Hillsboro, NH was clearing out their machinery. The mill had a woodworking shop to make spindles, etc, and it had a Crescent universal woodworker among other machines. When I got there the machines were mostly all gone but there was a screen guard that the tag was wired to. I appropriated the tag because it appeared that whatever it had been on had been scrapped. Whether it was actually on an L. F. Grammes machine or not is unknown. I have had it on a band saw guard but recently removed it. Along the bottom edge it has stamped lettering that reads: L F Gramme(s) and Sons, Allentown, PA.
