- The Grammes family genealogy site has this entry: "Lewis F. Grammes was born January 30, 1845 in Heidelberg Twp, Lehigh County, PA. He married Eliza Jane Weber the daughter of George Weber and Elizabeth Gantzhorne. She was born December 03, 1851 and died December 14, 1923 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. Lewis and Eliza had the following children: Harry A.; Charles William; J. Frank; Elizabeth Marguerite; Lewis G.; Allen Grover and Hellen S.. Lewis established the company of L.F. Grammes & Sons in Allentown which employed many of the Allentown area residents until the late 1960's. Lewis died April 26, 1911 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. Lewis & Eliza are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA."
