This is a Mack 100 Shaper made by the McCartney MFG CO, Baxter springs, Kansas sometime around 1946/47. It has a 1 1/2 HP 1ph motor, 24x30 Table,3/4 spindle, and weighs #450

On these Shapers the table does the raising up and down. It is ready to put to work but i do have planes of restoring it. From what i can tell these are pretty rare. I really think these are cool shapers. The only history i know on it is the PO picked it up about 10 years ago and never did anything with it. He knew nothing about it other than he also thought it was cool.
