According to the company's web site, they were founded in 1946 and incorporated in 1947. They became part of Ingersoll-Rand Company in 1963, but continues to operate under their original name.
This company made "Mack" shapers. We have found a couple of patents to this company, but they are not woodworking related. Patents 4,526,000 and 4,545,157 were granted in 1985 to Albert C. Saurwein, for a "pressure intensifier" and a "center feeding water jet/abrasive cutting nozzle assembly".
