I found this table saw sitting beside a trash dumpster waiting to be disposed of.... I couldn't bear to see it tossed away so I confiscated it. It is a Western Auto 8" model no. 32A from the early 50's. Both the saw guard and rip fence appear to be original to the saw, although the fence has a door knob as a handle. The saw is in excellent condition... the arbor rotates very smoothly. Internals are cast iron as well as the table... it weighs just under 50 lbs. Attached is a Popular Mechanics advertisement from Oct. 1952.
