I recently purchased this lathe from a metal worker who saved it from being scrapped. There is no badge to positively identify it but it looks to be a match with the flat belt driven "Manual Training Lathe" also listed as a Blount lathe. The machine came with a cup live center on the tailstock of unidentified taper (looks like a MT2 with a custom sleeve--.795" to .666" x 2.685" long) and a four spur center (Jarno #7?) on the headstock (.892" to .715" x 3.725" long). My mseasuring may be off--but no matter how I do it I don't match any of the tapers listed (MT, Jarno, B&S, Jacobs).
No banjo or toolrest came with it. No motor and motor pulleys.
1 1/2" between ways, with 1 1/2" ways (before the 45 degree taper). The spindle is 16" long.
In addition to the broken corner on the table, the table had been cracked in half and was repaired by welding and mechanically fastening to steel plates.
