Won this W-T Grinder in an online auction along with a 7" Millers Falls and an 8" Milwaukee bench grinder. What I found interesting is all three of these grinders have the identical protective eye shields and mounting hdwe. however each manufacturer puts their own name and part number on it. Known issues with this W-T grinder include one missing wheel flange (3-1/2" OD x 3/4" ID), left eye shield bent, both eye shield glass are broken, missing bayonet base light bulbs.
Grinder Specs.
1 HP
3 Phase
1725 RPM
Wheels: 10” diameter x 1” wide x 3/4” bore
The 10” Walker Turner Grinder first shows up in the 1942 catalog and was advertised as NEW. It last appeared in the 1955 Kearney and Trecker Corp. Catalog.
