Comments:
Acquired in 2011 from a retired electrician in Sherwood, Oegon for $250. He had rewired & repainted it. There are only Red Star plates on it & seller said there were no Delta decals anywhere before painting. Saw was re-painted medium Grey with the exposed aluminum pieces polished. Manufacturer's nameplate is riveted on crooked. The saw has a greenish or cyan tint in the pictures but is light grey in real life. I tried to adjust the color to grey on the close-up shot. Saw still has the original crank handle with an oversize table and a homemade crank extension to clear the edge. Based on other images on this site, I cut the front edge so the crank would clear. The fellow I bought it from had some machinist skill as he had to fabricate new bars and rear 90* adjusting bolts for the table. He also brazed together a couple of blade gaurd hold downs with phenolic handles to replace the original wing nuts. Those wing nuts are very hard to reach! Don H.
