I obtained this machine from a local individual through a private sale. He previously purchased this machine as he was tooling-up a vintage for-profit woodworking shop several years ago. His plans changed and the vintage equipment ended up in storage and he bought all new equipment instead. Now years later, he has finally reluctantly decided to sell all of his vintage machines.

Interestingly, I looked at this same machine probably ten or twelve years ago when it belonged to someone else. The guy that owned it at that time had it and many, many more vintage machines stored in a bunch of semi-tractor trailers in a big field. I think this previous, previous owner had it for quite some time stored in a trailer before the previous owner purchased it. In other words, it had been sitting around unused for quite some time before I brought it back to life.

Comments: Very Large Tannewitz XJW tablesaw. Non-sliding version, but it does have the wide table ("W" in the model number). Includes the less common "production fence", which works similarily to the modern day Biesemeyer style fence. This is a massive machine.
