Purchased form used machine dealer in NH summer of 2010.Lathe was in running condition but had worn out headstock bearings, big grease lubed Fafnir 307's which I'm replacing soon.Told the lathe came from a school.Had no motor badge but believe its a 1/2 + hp 3ph 220 volt. The lathe has a 12" swing with about 52" +- center to center. The tailstock is quite interesting it will rotate 360 and has offset range of almost 4 1/2", spindle travel of 4 1/2" and quick action movement option with lever that I'm missing.Machine came with a very nicely made hand feed apron and compound carriage. The taper in head and tailstock is Jarno #6.The headstock motor speeds are changed through a Westinghouse controller drum switch. The Badge reads "The Blount, Manual Training School Lathe" manufactured by J.G. Blount Co. Everett, Mass., USA.
