Machine offered on ebay. Seller added the following:

Nice heavy Northfield 24 inch planer (Model #5) with original overhead sharpening attachment. 3 phase power (direct drive 5hp head & 1hp variable speed feed), in very good working order. This unit comes with 2 extra sets of knives, however once you master the sharpening of knives in place you rarely change them out. This is an industrial strength machine being able to handle a beafy cut on any hardwood you feed it (1/4" off in one pass off of a 16'' piece of oak is not unusual). This unit was originaly manufactured in 1952 and is of extremly heavy cast iron construction.... the best no matter what anyone says. Northfield still makes similar machines that run about $25,000. Aprox. weight is 1200 pounds.
