I bought this grinder from the liquidation of the Stiglitz Corporation.

Stiglitz Corp., one of Louisville’s oldest manufacturers, has shut down, putting 56 people out of work. More than 600 items worth hundreds of thousands of dollars were auctioned Wednesday at the company’s Mellwood Avenue factory.
The company stopped operating in mid-August after losing its business with General Electric, the source of 90 percent of its revenue, said owner Doug Stiglitz, whose great-great grandfather Charles George Stiglitz started the business in 1882.

The cool thing about this grinder is that it was also made in Louisville, so that makes it a little extra special to me.
