One of many rules passed on to me by previous molder man who ran my molders. This is the one I prize most.
Also called a Stickerman's Rule.
The metal rules are evolved from the wood which men made themselves. The metal are double scaled for different size heads on each side. They are also double ended for top and bottom, or opposing side heads. The end gage is adjustable depending on where the operator likes to run the heads.
The projection scale is elongated to show the true profile a knife will develop. Most useful for specialty work. A stock pattern would have it's own single pattern template for set up.
