This is an American Machinery Co No.2 universal trimmer with a 4 handle ships wheel. I got it from the second owner,via flEabay, who bought it in the 1930's, when he was a young patternmaker. He stopped doing patternmaking & put the trimmer in a barn, 55+years ago. It came with a second set of knives, but no other attachments. The bed is marked with 90, 67, 60, 45 and 30 degrees on the bed. There are no positive stops - just the lines drawn on the bed. I elephant ear was broken and has been rewelded, and one of the cam-type handles for the angle adjustment has broken (replaced by a hardened bolt). Works very smoothly, with no play whatsoever.
