Marked as being made in Detroit, but still with "Patent Applied For", so it must have been made before the patent was issued on May 1, 1894. Sold on eBay 08/21/08 for a paltry $106.49. Somebody out there really SUX!!! New owner is Dana Hagstrom, who submitted photos 02/14/10. It's suspected that the capstan wheel is a replacement for the original ratcheting operating handle. |
