Just picked up this saw. Past owner converted it to cut steel. I would like to convert it for woodworking. Heavy duty saw, and runs fairly smooth. It will take a lot of TLC. Past owner used a garden tractor transmission to slow down the speed, and works quite well. I will have to speed it up for wood. He did make a nice moble base, with a base lock.
