I bought this jointer at a sawmill in Iowa 6 years ago. It has a property tag from Fruehauf trailer co SN 2504. It has babbitt bearings and a, what appears to be, homemade cutter guard made out of sheet metal.
On the base is the round brass Crescent name plate with SN 16377 stamped on it. This same SN is also stamped on the end of the in-feed table. Also cast on the base is the Crescent Machine Co Leetonia, Ohio identification.
