Arco Manufacturing Co. was active from at least 1958 to 1976 and perhaps for longer. They made an inexpensive patent narrow-belt sander as well as a portable power hacksaw. By 1991 the Quick-Sand narrow-belt sander was being manufactured by Divindacon Products, Inc., of Grafton, Wisconsin.

  • Advertisements in the November 1958 Popular Mechanics, looking for people to sell the "IRON MIKE" portable power hacksaw.
  • Article in the July 1969 Popular Mechanics on the Arco Quick-Sand narrow-belt sander. Quotations from this article were used in almost all of Arco's subsequent ads.
  • Advertisements for the Arco Quik-Sand belt sander in various 1971 through 1976 issues of Popular Mechanics.
  • The belt sander patent was granted to one Vern K. Mason, who was likely one of the principals of Arco Manufacturing Co.
