Founded in 1895 as a reorganization of the Bush Hill Iron Works. The firm made roll turning lathes for steel mills and stone turning lathes for turnig granite columns. The columns of St. John the Divine church in New York City were turned on one of their lathes. They were 6' in diameter and 54' long.
