This maker of woodworking machinery tooling is now known as Galt Wood Tool (1989) Ltd. It was founded 1913 as the Canadian arm of Pennsylvania-based cutter-head manufacturer Samuel J. Shimer & Sons. Eventually the Canadian operations were purchased from the parent company, and then operated as Galt Wood Tool & Machine Co.
