In 1879 Jarecki Brothers & Co. of Erie, PA, was making pipe cutting and threading machines. The founder was Henry Jarecki. His son Albert H. Jarecki was granted several 1870s patents for pipe tongs.< By 1897 the name had changed to Jarecki Manufacturing Co./li>
There was an unrelated manufacturer of metalworking machinery that was also named Jarecki. The other one was in Grand Rapids, Mich.
