There were two companies called Jarecki Manufacturing Co., one in Erie, Pa., and one in Grand Rapids, Mich. The Erie business was operating as Jarecki Brothers & Co. in 1879, and made pipe cutting and threading machines. The founder was Henry Jarecki. His son Albert H. Jarecki was granted several 1870s patents for pipe tongs.
