Henry Beisheim started in the machinist trade in 1871 at Mill near Brown Street in Rochester. In 1873 Mason & Pierce was apparently sold or turned over to Beisheim & Turnbull at 111½ North Water Street. This was a short-lived partnership between Henry Beisheim and Adam W. Turnbull. By 1874 the business was listed as H. & J. Beisheim at 145 North Water Street. This would be Henry and Jacob Beisheim. This lasted until 1876 when it became just Henry Beisheim.
