We have a report of a large wood-frame bandsaw from this maker, with an 1868 patent date that corresponds to a patent granted to Calvin D. Smith of Baldwinville, for a bearing journal. An 1873 ad for A. F. Young shows an identical saw. We speculate that Smith sold his operations to Young, but we have no other evidence to back that up.
