First registered in 1946, Electro Engineering Products Co., Inc. made handheld power tools, including planers, grinder, drills, circular saws and jig-saws. The company survived into the early 1980s.
Another maker, Duwel Products Corp. of Chicago, seems to be closely related to Electro Engineering Products Co. The Duwel company seems to disappear after 1960 but the Duwel name lived on as a brand name used in addition to Electro and Ashland (which was used by the Ashland Division of Electro Engineering Products Co.)
