Parting with my tough as nails Parks/Craftsman planer.
I had intended to restore it, but have since decided to downsize my woodworking shop.
Wired for 220, but could be wired for 120v as well with current motor. It's been sitting in my new-to-me shop, unused for the past 3.5 years, since I don't have 220 on site and I didn't want to use it as a 120v machine.
Worked well when I used it last. Has some surface rust on the in and out-feed tables and a little leaked gear oil here and there, but nothing that interfered with using the machine. Basically, it needs a loving home and a restoration. Comes with an extra set of blades.
Because I do not have 220 in my current shop, you will not be able to test it upon pickup, that is, unless you bring a generator to test it, which you are more than welcome to do. I expect it to work without a problem.
Local pickup only. Asking $450. Cash but will consider trading all or in part for Lie Nielsen/Veritas and possibly other hand tools, depending on what you have. |
