Comes with three tool rests (6", 12", 90 degree) and 3" faceplate.
I have a few lathe chisels I will also include.
I have replaced the power switch, installed new wiring to the power switch, swapped the V belt for a link belt, found a replacement for the original tailstock wrench, and made new oak knobs for the belt tension lever and headstock pulley access door.
The lathe runs but the centers are not coplanar, which is reflected in the price. Minor adjustments to the headstock and some shimming of the tailstock should reduce, if not completely eliminate the problem. If you don't mind putting in a little work, this will be a great lathe for you. I've still been able to make turnings around the issue. Otherwise, lots of life left in this lathe. Heavy and sturdy. I've moved to a slightly smaller lathe that more suits my needs. I'd rather this lathe be in the hands of someone who can appreciate it rather than just sitting in my shop.
Selling as-is. Cash only. Buyer responsible for removing it from my ground level workshop. (There is a slightly raised threshold leading to the outside.) The lathe is particularly top heavy and there is not much to grab onto. Strongly recommend bringing someone who know how to move heavy items as I can only offer limited help getting it out of the building. I am unable to assist loading it into your vehicle. |
