Circa 1986, made in McMinnville, TN. The bones are solid, with blade tilt and elevation operating very smoothly. The trunnion and motor support are excellent, with no repair welds. The top is smooth, flat, and rust free. The cabinet has minor scuffs and dings expected on a 38 year old saw, and has both the original dust door and motor cover. Handwheels are original. The arbor bearings are brand new and it has a Biesemeyer fence. The left face is fair but usable. The rails appear straight and undamaged except the previous owner cut a corner out of the left end of the rear rail to allow an overhead blade guard to be attached. The guard is long gone. The missing section isn't pretty but doesn't affect the fence's operation. The rails are detached to save space. Drive belts need replacment, along with the throat plate. The motor is a three phase 5HP 230v. One phase is bad so it needs either repair or replacement. I've had the saw since 2015 and unfortunately, never had the opportunity to enjoy it. I hate to let it go but I hate just letting it sit even more. I'm about 20 miles west of DC |
