I obtained this saw from my wife's grandfather who his father purchased brand new in 1937 in Detroit Michigan. The research I found on this machine and the numbers match the first year Delta manufactured this Unisaw in 1937. (I can provide these numbers to serious buyers if need be) This saw also has the rare side motor cover intact and in perfect condition. I have found these covers alone to go for 700+. This saw also comes with 2 fences. This saw RUNS and responds to well to wood being fed through it still. I had this saw serviced, new belts and the original motor rewired with a ground for safety (110 Plug).
Any other information please feel free to ask, I will respond with my research and knowledge to the best of my ability.
I am asking $2000 or best offer. (I will not part this saw out so please do not ask) I also have an old Delta drill press and Scroll saw I can let all three go for $2500 or Best Offer. The reason I'm selling these vintage machines is to start a college fund for our new son. Thanks. |
