This is a 26" Duro Metal Products jig saw. I am not sure of it’s production date, but a “Received Date” stamped on the original manual is Jan. 10, 1951. I obtained this in the mid 1980's. It did not have a motor, so I installed a furnace fan motor to run it. The table had some deep rust pitting on it, so I had a machine shop do a blanchard grind on it to get a better work surface. I am not getting that much use out of it and would like to see it go to someone who appreciates this old vintage piece of equipment. |
