Buss 36” top and bottom planer indoor running condition. 220/440 volts 3 phase 4 speed. Comes with 2 grinders set up for the top and bottom heads, the bottom head has a cast iron cart when pulling the head out to sharpen.machine weighs around 14000 lbs. the last time I used it I planed 1000 bd ft of mahogany in 18 minutes. This thin is a beast. There are no belts just gears and two chains. It has two sets of segmented indeed rolls and two sets of outfeed rolls. The top and bottom rolls are all powered. This machine was manufactured in 1947 and will run another 75 years. If it does not sell then I will completely rebuild it. I have put all new I feed rolls on the first head. It has 5 inch diameter cutter heads with 4 knives in each top and bottom. I also have the dust hoods. It has all the covers for it I show the cover off to show the gears. Call Joe 828-527-8065 |
