A 1955 Oliver 299D Planer, it came from a vocational school, so it has low hours on it. It is 24” wide and originally had a 5-horsepower direct drive motor. It has been converted to a belt driven machine and can be used with any size motor. This allows for the option to put a single-phase motor on the machine and have an industrial planer while utilizing a single-phase motor. It currently has a 10-horsepower motor, powered bed rolls, it has been upgraded with an itch spiral head which greatly reduces grain tear out. It has the rail and the sharpener to go with it. The carbide knives have been recently sharpened. It is in good condition. Comes with a dust hood and the original birth certificate for the machine. Serial number 83875
Would prefer local pickup, but will bolt on a pallet for an additional fee.3 phase, 240 volts $8,500 |
