This base is without manufacturer markings but has all the characteristics of the Starret and the patina indicates it is not one of those recent asiatic knock offs.
It is heavy (a full four pounds) so it stays where you put it. Post is nine inches tall. Dogbone tool holder/gauge holder clamp 6061 aluminum.
