This jointer has a clamshell cutter head with razor sharp blades. Ask me how I know. The motor is 7.5hp 220v 3 phase. The table is 88"long x 20.75" wide. Flat and rust free. Belt drive. This machine was purchased, restored, and used by my predecessor. He left it behind when he moved into a smaller shop. Unfortunately, he did take the inverter so I have never used it. Moving into a smaller shop and cannot take this machine with me. As you can see he pushed it against the wall when he left, thus, I cannot get good photos of the working side. This does have an old style blade guard but it is not mounted. Comes with extra jibs and extra belts. You will have to take it apart to some extent in order to move it out of the shop. The doors are too narrow for the belt cover and belts to get through. The machine is obviously heavy and likely easier to move broken down a bit. I do have a very large and heavy duty floor metal dolly that you can use to move the machine. The dolly is included with the machine. Probably best to bring a motor lift to remove the heavier components. I do have a 3 ton hydraulic floor jack that you can borrow to help lift the machine, but you may need a johnson bar or some kind of stout lever and some timbers to raise the machine off the floor. Fortunately, the shop is on the street level and there is a low ramp leading from the outside door to the sidewalk.
Asking $1100 OBO. NO CHECKS OF ANY KIND! |
