For sale is this big ol' Walker Turner 20" drill press. It is complete, it was taken from a working metal fabrication shop, runout was measured on the inside of the taper and is less than .oo2,, bearings are good, it's ready to go. Just needs a good cleaning...or not! It's about 40" from the front of the table to the back of the motor. Table is 22" across by 20" deep to the post
Has morse taper number 2, comes with a jacobs chuck.

Very interesting Clark motor starter, (might be a rebadged AB709?)
The good: Pretty much everything. 7" quill travel, extremely slow speeds possible, ball bearing jack shaft on slow speed set up, bearings good.
The bad: There's really not much bad to report, but there are a couple spots on the table, (nothing like an arc of shame though) the depth stop is slightly bent, (still fully functional), will need belts soon, needs chuck (as mentioned above) lever knobs aren't color coordinated, it's kinda greasy....
The motor pictured is 3phase, but we also have a single phase motor that we can swap, your choice. |
