South Bend metal lathe 8’ bed, 14 x 40, belt driven. This was acquired through an estate sale. The previous owner set this up in his basement in 1960 and since then used it for automotive and woodworking projects.
Very well maintained, runs quiet and smooth. Comes with chucks, faceplate, centers, tailstock, work holders, and turning tools. #9476 punched on ways.
We disassembled this to haul it out of the basement. See pictures. The first couple of pics is how it was in we acquired ir. We have plenty more pics taken as the lathe was taken apart. We also have a video of the motor running.
