I have a complete, restored, A complete machine (1944 monarch production lathe #24673, gallery green machine, runs as designed, you can call me anytime, would prefer that than typing, 906 553 3135.
a.) The lathe runs, its 80 years old, they were made to last, it is nearly perfect again.
b.) the ways are good, run-out is less than 0.002", its hard to measure.
c.) it would help loads if you were a machinist to appreciate this machine
d.) GE Triclad 3 phase 7.5 hp 240 VAC electric motor
e.) comes with a VFD to run this unit, I have already programmed this 10hp VFD, it runs perfect.
f.) download the WAA manual from this site to do your research.
g.) tooling included, D1-6 camlock spindle, 4 jaw chuck, 3 jaw chuck, 14 inch back plate, 10 inch back plate, aloris clone CXA tool-post system, tool-post grinder, new B96 belts, clutch has been tuned, new bearings in gearbox, new oil in headstock, new halfnut, new crossfeed nut, gibs are still good, cuts like hell, I restored this machine, I have learned alot about monarch turning machines.
ill sell it for $6000.00 + shipping, and save you the hassle of restoring a machine from scratch, all manuals included, call me.
