Fully working piece of American woodworking history. This is an 18” Yates-American J180 planer, one of their flagship machines. It functions perfectly, but I haven’t run it in close to a year. It is a 3 phase machine, but is easily hooked up to a phase converter to run on single phase, 240V power. I sold my phase converter, so I don’t have it currently hooked up, but I know it works perfectly. Tables are flat and parallel, and blades are extremely sharp.
