This is a 9-inch, South Bend Workshop Model A lathe. Catalog #644-Y, Bed Length 3. Overall it measures 41-inches x 29-inches x 21-inches (to the top of the forward/reverse switch). It has a 3 jaw chuck mounted, a 4 jaw chuck included, quick change gearbox, 110 volt power, forward/reverse switch, other chucks and some tooling included, bench and some literature included (mostly maintenance), recently found a steadyrest among my father's things for the lathe.

The lathe was used by my father primarily for restoring Ford Model A water pumps and distributors as well as to simply "putter around" the cellar. Well taken care of.
