Wysong & Miles model 284 automatic hollow chisel mortiser. Very good condition. 5 hp. 3 ph. Comes with a number of chisels. Table was ground flat and fence ground so it is 90 degrees to table. Babbit bearings were checked by millwright. Great running machine and a real workhorse. You will not stall out this machine. Located in south central Pa. Going to be moving to NC in Sept. and would like to sell before the move.

Comments:
I built a very sturdy pallet with 4x6 and 2x4. I mounted 4 casters on the pallet, each rated to 900 lbs so machine can be rolled around in a shop or you can take casters off and make it stationary.
As for shipping, when I bought it I put it in the back of a pickup truck. Machine is in a storage area and a big commercial truck won't make it down the alley. Will need to be loaded with a forklift, but I think there is still a local person who will load it for about $50-75.00.
