This saw came out of Phillips Exeter Prep School in Exeter New Hampshire some years ago and sat in a barn for many years. My son and I decided to restore it this winter. Its a beast. We had the Babbitt bearings re-leaded so there is no slop whatsoever has a brand new carbide blade. we never ran it because the motor it came with was a 3-phase floor mount job. I think its around 7.5 HP. This saw has a sliding bed for making big crosscuts and miters. The rip fence is a work of art in itself. Its a compound miter rack and pinion. Also has a large extension for cutting plywood. |
