My late father has left me a 36" Cresent Machinery Co bandsaw. I found a number stamped on the upper wheel "C5479". It also has a diamond shaped plate with the name "C H GOSIGER MACHINER CO, DAYTON OHIO"
It was originally rescued from an old wood mill, buried in a blackberry bush deep in the bush, outside the small country town of Mirboo North in Victoria, Australia. That was about 35 years ago. It was fully reconditioned by my father, and has been working ever since. It is still at my parents home in Boolarra, Victoria, Australia.
