Source=Owner's submission (admin added date based on s/n). Owner's notes: I inherited this small piece of equipment from a friend who was cleaning out his garage. I will submit a picture as is now before I have cleaned it up. The ID tag only has a Serial Number of 61-6865. There is no Model number anywhere to be found. Searching online the only Model I can find is Delta Homecraft Jointer 4" Model No. 37-110 on http://www.old-woodworking-tools.net/delta-homecraft-jointer.html. This machine looks identical to mine I guess it is possibly one-in-the-same made in 1937. I have been searching for an Operators Manual. In the history of Delta on this website it says that no Homecraft designs were ever sold by Rockwell/Delta (http://vintagemachinery.org/mfgindex/detail.aspx?id=1141). This machine is very basic and well built and all the parts seem to be is good working order. Once I have it cleaned up I expect it will look very much like the pic in the Old Woodworking website above.
Interesting development. As I was taking pictures a number appeared in one on review. It is FJ 304 which matches the model number of a 1974 Rockwell/Delta Jointer. When I searched that number it brought me back to this website (http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/698/2201.pdf) offering me a copy of the Operating Instructions. God works in mysterious ways, his wonders to behold. |
