This was my fathers saw I have no idea how long he had it, or where he got it from but I know its been around longer than I have. He taught me how to use it when I was 10 and I've used it quite a bit ever since for the last 28 years (that makes the saw over 38 years old but I have a feeling it's a lot older than that. Sure it's old but it's rock solid and only on it's second motor. I know the motor was replaced but that was about the same time I started being able to use it and so far it's still going. I do have some problems with the upper blade attachment something broke in there a few several years back I jerry rigged something up out of bailing wire to fix it and it's held well enough, but it would be nice to have an actual part or know what it's supposed to look like so I could make a new one. |
