This O-3 is based on a Master Electric motor which originally ran at 25 Hz. As Ontario Hydro phased out the 25 Hz power system in the early 1950s the motor was converted to 60 Hz operation.
The oscillating mechanism of this sander seems to be the same as that used in the O-4 and is quite different from that on an earlier O-3 we have seen. |
