Source=Owner's submission (admin added date based on s/n). Owner's notes: A fellow forum member from the east coast listed this for sale and I jumped on it. Quite a road trip adventure, 3000 miles in 5 days. Took my time and drove back roads when loaded. Got it home safe and sound.
My tractor was not strong enough to lift it so a friend with a skid steer unloaded it and got it into the shop for me.
The adjustable feet with casters are great! I can move it easily by myself and can get it perfectly level.
Once the wiring was done and it was running it became a work in progress. Cleaning and fixing little things. Added the tachometer to the spindle so I didn't have to keep doing math in my head based on the VFD readout.
I plan on fixing up a pump and tank to power the quill down feed but I keep finding projects to use the mill and the pump priority keeps getting pushed back.
This is the perfect machine to go with my SB 10K lathe and SB 7" shaper. |
