Source=Owner's submission. Owner's notes:I received this saw for free from a good neighbor who has since passed away. Last month I fixed some electrical issues and got the motor to stop squealing with a little WD-40 in the left motor spindle.
If I use full tilt (45 degrees), the largest saw blade I can use is 7 1/4. I am using a Amana tool 5/8 to 1/2 arbor adapator (BU-110), so I can use standard arbor size saw blades. I purchased a 1961 Rockwell COMPACTOOL 34-200 owners manual from E-Bay, and it has two pages of exploded view parts on this saw. I did get the miter gauge and fence with this saw, but my neighbor could not find the blade guard. The motor runs at 3450 RPMs and cuts through wood like butter. I would like to know the date of manufacture for this saw. My guess would be 1961-1962??? Bill Goldsberry |
