Replacing an 8" jointer from west of Hawaii. Runs very smooth on a belt driven 2HP Craftsman Repulsion Induction Motor. Grinding off the paint and will go with International Blue gloss enamel which is closer to the dark blue gray, period colors. 2 knife head with greased ball bearings. It has a zerk on the front end of the cutter and a Lunkenheimer Co Gem No. 00 grease cup on the rear. Considering a Helix cutterhead replacement. Had it coplanar and fence at 90 degrees in 20 minutes! |
