I purchased this saw about 10 years ago . It the I’ve always wanted, it’s got a 2 HP 240 volt single phase motor. It came with a Delta 1235958 fence system which is similar to a Besmeyer . I recall calling Delta to ask if they could tell me how old the saw iwas. The representative I spoke with told me that based on the serial number the saw was built in 1968. I love the saw but there are two things I’m concerned about. Im not too happy with the Delta fence because I can’t seem to get it adjusted properly. Also I’m not sure if it might need new bearings . When running the saw seems a bit too load I think maybe arbor bearing or maybe the motor needs to have bearings installed. Thanks and next time I’m in my ldetached garage I’ll take some pictures. |
