Notes:	Source=Owner's submission. Owner's notes: I recently acquired a 1942 Model 8183-C South Bend Lathe (14 1/2" X 6'). Per the serial number card the dealer for this lathe was Chandler Machinery in Atlanta GA. It was sold to the Army Signal Corp. repair shop in Tampa FL on 11/7/1942. Fast forward to 1982; I worked at the same Chandler Machinery in Atlanta for a couple of years. And fast forward to July 2021; I acquired this lathe. It is in working order but pretty badly worn. I am working on restoring it.
